We were honoured to talk at the Planning Healthy Places Workforce Forum on 4th July 2024, a multidisciplinary event unifying practitioners and specialists in planning, design, policy-making, health science, tech and research.
There is a great opportunity to unify transdisciplinary knowledge and collaboration, achievable by:
- Adopting common language and standards across public health, spatial planning and design;
- Making health the highest planning priority;
- Leveraging data-backed evidence while revealing hidden insights and health determinants via continuous engagement between various communities and departments;
- Encouraging Continuous Professional Development via both formal and interdisciplinary on the job training.
